I decided to borrow Bayonetta for Switch from my local library this week. When it first came out I mistakenly wrote it off as a "game for horny dudes" and never played it; however, I've seen enough queer women talk about loving the game over the years that I decided to give it a chance. I'm not super far in it yet but I'm having a blast. It is unquestionably horny, but it's just a campy game in general and it honestly fits the vibe.
I was having a bit of trouble at the beginning because I've generally been a button masher with these types of games. I found this great guide on the Steam community forums that was a huge help for starting to learn combos. I'm not perfect, but after about six and a half hours of playtime so far I've gotten a few platinum and pure platinum medals on some of the shorter verses of the first four chapters. You can replay already complete levels to earn money and resources so I've been doing a bit of grinding to build up my stats.
I'm sure I'll have more to say as I keep playing, but I'm glad I finally gave the game a shot. It's some of the most fun I've had in videogames this year.
